Your Days Are Numbered

In an ancient book, a prayer lies in ambush;

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

The brevity of life can often breed fear in us.
Fear to risk, to dare, to make that call, to have that conversation, to buy that ticket.

What if we lived our life from end to beginning instead?
What if this was your last year on earth?
Would you be doing what you are doing now?

We must turn the excuse of life’s brevity, for our inaction, into our reason for courage and faith (spelt R-I-S-K).

A friend of mine, on departing to war-torn Sudan, was told by her Father; “My girl, if you die in Sudan, you did it living your dream.”
Who of us if we had to die tomorrow could say that?

And if you can’t, I challenge you to go find and do your dream.
And when you come to your final day, to die in glory, with all guns blazing, living your dream!

“The only way to gain your life is to lose it.”
