A long war

Take courage my lads!
There are yet 7000 men who have not bowed their knee to baal.

Your frame changes when you realize that 90% of the ppl around you are confused about their identity & demoralized about their purpose.

Your Clarity of Identity & Courage of Purpose are a relief to those who are captive to the enemy.

They are waiting on Brave-Hearts, leaders who will show them what to do next.
Proclaim the good news to the poor, freedom to the captive.

Start leading the men around you.
Suggest courses of action to their bondages.
Encourage them to resist the devil and go hard for God’s call on their lives.

I am always encouraged when it seems the battle is too far gone.
This is the very condition required for God to use you.
We are insurgents into the devil’s territory.

We are a Guerrilla Church: Small groups of men behind enemy lines.

The guerrilla war advances on two fronts:
1) Propagating Ideology, Framing the Narative, Winning the Cultural Long Game.
2) Recruiting, Equipping, & Commissioning Men to the Mission of taking & holding territory.

The Bible is the blueprint for Wholesome Culture.
History is the case study of the effects of the Bible, or lack thereof, upon culture.
Men are the instrument that God chooses to build the culture through.

A man who is reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, living in the Ways of God as revealed through scripture, starts a flow, a knock on effect, on the world downstream from him.

Jesus > Man > Warband > Family > Church > Business > Governance.
Guys, Girls, God, Gold, Guns.

This is a long war.
Avoid the “one battle to win it all” mentality.
Mission is pioneering a different way of living (culture) amongst a poor & captive people.

“Build houses & dwell, plant gardens & eat. Take wives & beget children… that you may be increased there & not diminished. Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive & pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” – Jer29v5-7

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me…to preach good tidings to the poor…to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives & opening of prison doors to those who are bound… they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.”- Isia61v1-4
